My 7 year old has been going to Artsy Bugsy for art class for more than a year now and really enjoys her classes each time she goes. The teachers are patient and friendly, environment is very conducive for lessons as well. I myself love the themed work and I find it's so relatable for the kids e.g. recent sanrio bento workshop, local "chicken rice", Christmas artwork (see photos of my favourite art works by my kid). My 7 year old really loves the use of mixed media and various techniques that she has learn e.g. shading, blending, watercolour, air clay. Chantal is also so pleasant to communicate with arrange for lessons Would highly recommend Artsy Bugsy!

One of my first and favorite art studio. Really love the style and final piece presented by my children. Very creative glow in dark art and even my 4yo was so enjoyed. For older kids, they really trigger their imagination by their availability. Other than the friendly teachers, the environment is bright and cozy, though it's in an industry building, the moment you entered studio, you feel the sense of art.

My daughter has enjoyed the sessions at Artsy Bugsy for two years and counting! We love signing up for their art workshops during the school holidays. The teachers are patient and encouraging and great with little kids (my daughter is 4). They offer a fun variety of art projects and it's wonderful to see how proud my daughter is of each creation. Most telling of all, she always asks me when she can come to Artsy Bugsy again!

My gal has been attending Artsy Bugsy since she was four years old (she is almost eight now). The environment at the school is welcoming and she looks forward to going for lessons. Notice that the other kids at the school feel at home too! The teachers ensure that she is exposed to various techniques and materials therefore a piece of work is usually made up of different techniques and materials (e.g. water colours, crayons). And not to forget other little touches such as snacks and spinning the wheel for points that the kids are able to redeem for little gifts (something that my gal absolutely adores:)).

Artsy Bugsy provided a fantastic creative outlet for my child. The instructors were engaging, fostering a positive environment where kids felt free to express themselves. The diverse projects not only sparked imagination but also developed fine motor skills. Overall, a fantastic experience that nurtures a love for art in a fun and supportive setting ❤️

In the room

What a class actually looks like

Artsy Bugsy has been Singapore's art studio for children since 2017. Our regular classes run every week of the year — the same day, the same teacher, a room your child gets to know. They work with real materials on real projects, not worksheets, and they take home what they make. The easiest way to know whether it's right for your child is to come and see: the first class is on us.

👩‍🎨

Small groups, one teacher

Enough attention that a stuck child gets unstuck, and enough company that art stays social.

🖌️

Real materials

Watercolour, acrylic, gouache, oil and soft pastel, clay, charcoal, and digital art on iPad. Everything is included — bring nothing but your child.

🧠

Projects, not worksheets

Each piece teaches a technique. Over a term it stacks into something a child can see themselves getting better at.

📷

You see what they made

Teachers photograph finished work and share it with you, so you know what happened in the room even when you weren't in it.

Questions

Things parents ask us

Is the trial really free?+

Yes. One full class, no payment, no card, nothing to cancel afterwards. If it isn't a fit, that's a useful answer too.

What does it cost after the trial?+

It depends on your child's age and how often you'd like to come — weekly, a flexible bundle of sessions, or unlimited. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll send you the options, or ask us at the trial.

My child has never done art before. Is that fine?+

That's most of them on day one. Classes are grouped by age, and the teacher meets each child where they are.

Do we need to bring anything?+

No. Materials, aprons and everything else are included. Come in clothes that are allowed to get paint on them.

Can I stay and watch?+

Message us when you book and we'll tell you what works best at your studio — some rooms have space for parents, some are calmer without.

What if we miss a week?+

Tell us as early as you can and we'll work something out — message us on WhatsApp and we'll explain how make-ups work.
